Today's freebie is once again, Pink! I just can't get enough of this color.
Lately, I've been thinking a lot about why I choose to spend so much time scrapbooking and the answer is pretty clear to me - it keeps me busy! That, and I REALLY really love it!
When I say busy, I don't mean being swamped with deadlines or having an appointment book full of dates and special meetings. I mean, I have found a creative and healthy avenue to help occupy my down time. It's not a complete lifesaver; there are other ingredients to that recipe, but it definitely helps to have this outlet.
There are far too many individuals suffering in the darkness who feel they serve no purpose. I have been there and would be naive to think that I won't ever be there again. It doesn't matter where you are in life or what you are facing, there will never be any better time to do something that makes you feel alive. Find something you love and do it! And in those moments of darkness, TALK ABOUT IT, know you are never the only one, and know that you can and will find meaning to life again.
and remember, "To the world you may be one person, but to me you are the world."
